Writings...

  1. Asiana (asiana.pdf 76 KB) - my favourite short story from "12-21" (based on a true story!!!)
  2. 12-21: A Celebration of My Youth (12-21.pdf 722 KB) - a collection of poetry, essays, parables and short stories which were written by me between the ages of 12 and 21 (therefore it is a celebration of my youth!)
  3. The Path to Peace (not yet available) - a exploration of strategies that have actually produced national and global peace in the past, and how they might be implemented now
  4. Noughts (not yet available - I will be posting some parts to my blog soon) - a collection of essays exploring specific issues relating to spirituality, music, and society.
  5. The Grammar of Music (in planning, provisional title) - a textbook for learning music analysis, semantics and harmony at a deep level to aid practice and apprecation, will include general discussions, textbook style examples and a workbook, supplemented by an online area with further examples and exercises.
Asiana and 12-21 are currently free (and will probably stay this way, at least for downloadable versions), I am planning to make available paper copies as well, but they won't be free.  The Path to Peace will be printed and distributed commercially with some parts freely downloadable - especially those parts that contain practical strategies.  Noughts will be largely available for free via my blog, but will be also printed on demand once finished.  The Grammar of Music will be printed and distributed commercially, and downloadable for a price, but the price will also include permanent access to a growing body of exercises and other resources for further study.

If you are an illustrator, and you like Asiana, then contact me if you would like to create some illustrations for this story.  I think that this story really needs some beautiful surreal illustrations to polish it up so that it can be commercially published as a "coffee table" kind of book in vibrant colour, one that is a work of art visually as well.
