- Improvisions 1999
- a set of nine improvisations using Classical forms and techniques,
includes two "live" fugues, the second of which climaxes the set.
Available to freely download as mp3 files (see below) and available as
a CD from this site very soon. I've hesitated for some years
before releasing this due to problems with the sound recording quality
(it was recorded on a hand held tape recorder), but have painstakingly
corrected much of this distortion using my computer's audio sequencing
and mixing program (a free and open source package called audacity).
- K. S. Sorabji Live - the live recording of my
Masters recital of early works by Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji.
Includes Desir Eperdu, In the Hothouse, Toccata, and Sonata 1. Recorded at the
Queensland Conservatorium Theatre on August 11, 1999 using a loaned
minidisc recorder. Again I've hesitated releasing this due to
sound recording problems caused by the recorder being setup
incorrectly. This have been (very successfully) eliminated using Audacity. Available for free
download as mp3 files and as a CD from this site very soon.
- Demos - a collection of
recordings drawn from other recitals, or just made at home for fun,
includes a (highly edited) recording of me playing Mozarts K466
concerto with a MIDI "orchestra". Also includes some examples of
me playing not so well too, and/or where the recording setup
self-destructed!
- Sounds of Infinity (to be
recorded professionally in
July 2005 and released soon after) - my first real professional quality
CD release, will be a double disk of the first three Sonatas of Khai
Wai Choong, plus perhaps a couple of relevant bonuses. Will be
available for purchase from this site, and distributed elsewhere as
well. Not sure yet about mp3 releases.
